Third party insurance cover on club diving activities
Part of your annual membership goes towards Third Party insurance for all Club members. This means that you will be covered for accidents and damage to other people or property whilst on official club dive evenings, dive trips and dive events. Only events officially promoted and organised by the club are covered.
Adventure Days
Something different once in a while. We can get great group rates on Adventure days, keep a look out for exciting new events.
Superb practice pools
Our variety of locations gives you ample opportunity to practice your skills, check out new equipment or simply float those cares away. Pool fees are kept to an absolute minimum and on a pay-as-you-go basis to the associated Dive Centre.
Low cost membership
Our low cost membership policy means that you can enjoy all the benefits of a professionally run adventure club without the sort of fees associated with other sports activities.
Non diver activities
We have a surprising number of non-diver members. Join in the social events, swim in the pools or take in some of the holiday benefits and trips.
Junior Section
Regular Seal Team and Bubblemaker sessions run at our Nottingham pool on Sunday afternoons. Bring the little ones along and have some fun.
Snorkeling practice and training
Normal pools do not allow snorkeling equipment - we do. Come and practice and hone your skills. You could also keep fit at the same time. Why not have a go at Octopush?
All diving qualifications recognised
BS-AC, PADI, SAA, IANTD, Man in the Moon diving qualifications are all recognised. If you have a diving qualification, you can practice in our pool. We strongly recommend that you keep your skills up to date with regular Skills Reviews from one of our Dive Professionals.
Club group holidays
Don't miss out on the holidays. These are simply fantastic. We try to cater for singles, families and non-divers. Club members are always notified first of our low cost holiday deals, but as always, places are on a first come, first served basis.
Up to 50% Discount off personal equipment hire
Club members get a 10% discount off all equipment hire. This applies to pool equipment, open water kit or even holiday hire. Don't forget to ask. For some club events this can be as much as 50%. See individual events listed in the newsletters.
Organised dive trips
Over the year we run several UK diving trips. We always try to cater for both the new divers and the more experienced. Divemasters, instructors and old hands are always willing to lend a helping hand to those who have never tried this before.
Shore and boat diving
Our dive trips often have options of shore or boat diving. Each can have a particular benefit giving a variety of dives from the same locations.
Shark tank dives
Three metre Sand Tiger Sharks make you concentrate on your buoyancy. We run regular club trips, to the tank in Edinburgh.
Re-compression chamber dives
A fantastic experience. Getting narked out of your skull at 50 metres is something not to miss. We run regular trips and places get filled very quickly. The same day includes lunch and the hard hat dive.
Historical standard dress diving
Run on the same day as the 50 metre re-compression chamber dive, it is an amazing experience to try diving as it was in the beginning. Brass helmet, big boots but with modern communications. This is a great photo opportunity.
Professional diver section
The club has a number of PADI professional Divemasters and Instructors who give their time free of charge to help newly qualified divers. don't be afraid to ask. It is a great pleasure to be able to share ones passion, experience and knowledge.
Facebook
If you are looking for someone to dive with locally, try our Facebook group. Reports of trips and holidays can also be found, even the odd video.
News letters
A Club news letter is e-mailed to all current members a couple of times per year. It lists all the holidays and club events including known closures of the pool and other items. Copies are also available at the Dive Centre or pool sessions.

From time to time members will be notified of special discounts, purchases and training offers from Divemaster Scuba.
E-mail notification of events
All members of the Divemaster Scuba Facebook group will receive regular e-mail updates of events and Dive Centre information. It only takes a minute to subscribe. You can request to be removed from the mailing list at any time.
Free Nitrox Fills for Club Members
All members of the Divemaster Scuba Club can receive free Nitrox fills from the Nottingham Adventure Centre, up to 36%. You must have completed your Nitrox course with Divemaster Scuba. For personal use only, one single cylinder (up to 12 litres) per week.
