The Health and Safety At Work Act 1974 and The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require that appropriate consideration be given to protect workers and prevent accidents in the work place.

More than a third of all three-day or over injuries reported to Health and Safety Executive or the local authorities in the UK are caused by poor manual handling techniques. Lack of proper training provision may invalidate employee liability insurance.

This is a half day course which includes all course materials, practical scenarios and certification.
