First Aid Instructor Courses
Learn to Teach First Aid Courses This is where we teach you to become a recognised First Aid Instructor. Initially you will be able to conduct the standard 1 day First Aid Course which conforms to the HSE Appointed Person requirement, Care for Children Courses (Ofsted recognised), Manual Handling Courses, and incorporate Oxygen Administration and AED use.:

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Teach Oxygen Administration
- Teach Manual Handling Courses
- Teach AED (Defibrillator use)
HSE First Aid at Work Instructor As a First Aid Instructor we can, provided you have a current First Aid at Work certificate upgrade your qualification so that you can teach the following HSE approved courses:
- Full 4 Day First Aid at Work Course
- 2 Day First Aid at Work Refresher
Entry Requirements for First Aid Instructor Course To enter the Emergency First Response Instructor course, you must be 18 years old and have completed adult, child and infant CPR and first aid training in the past 24 months or a be a practicing medical professional such as a Physician, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic and Registered Nurse.
EFR Crossover Programs The Emergency First Response Crossover course is open to all CPR/First Aid Instructors who hold current adult, child and infant CPR/First Aid teaching credentials from another CPR/First Aid training organisation.
Entry Requirements for HSE First Aid at Work (FAW)Instructor Course To enter the Emergency First Response FAW Instructor course, you must be 18 years old and have completed the full HSE FAW course or update in the past 24 months and be a current EFR First Aid Instructor.

A Professional First Aid Instructor The Emergency First Response programme meets the HSE guidelines for appointed persons first Aid requirements, requirements for CPR and First Aid in the workplace (OSHA Guideline 29 CFR 1910.151), and incorporates the latest procedures for emergency patient care. Other organisations that recognise EFR as meeting their requirements are United States Coast Guard, The Boy Scouts of America, and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), to name a few.
